Vision
Cloud Autom8 was founded on the idea that you automate something when you have to do it manually twice or more. Because by automating routine tasks, you can organize work much more efficiently. In addition, automation minimizes the margins of error and developers can onboard applications faster. The result? A mature Azure platform that provides a solid foundation for next steps in your journey. Think of application modernization or even cloud-native application development.
The founders
Mark Scholman
Mark Scholman has been active in the digital world since 2005. After several engineering and IT positions, he decided to continue as an independent Microsoft Azure Consultant in April 2019. In recent years, he has guided organizations in their transformation to the cloud with Microsoft technologies. Mark's main focus? Azure's public cloud, Microsoft's hybrid cloud platforms Azure Stack and Azure Stack HCI. He recently co-designed a global automation framework for one of The Big Four. His rule of thumb is: 'If you have to do a task manually twice or more, automate it!'
Alex Hendrikse
Alex Hendrikse is an entrepreneur, consultant and strategist. He studied technical computer science and business administration and subsequently completed his MBA at Erasmus University Rotterdam. As a people person and real challenger, he has been tackling the most complex challenges and digital transformation processes at various organizations for over 25 years. Finished learning? Never. Alex keeps his knowledge up to date through the MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School.
